Growth in business doesn’t always mean changing direction — sometimes it means expanding capability.
Real estate will always be the foundation of my career. Building The Valencia Team alongside my husband has been one of the most rewarding parts of my professional journey, and that work continues. At the same time, adding mortgage services felt like the most natural evolution of what I already do every day.
I’m excited to share that I am now licensed as a Mortgage Agent Level 1 with Serca Financial Mortgage Group, allowing me to work on both sides of the transaction — real estate and financing.
Why Add Mortgages?
Every real estate transaction relies on two critical pieces coming together:
the right property and the right funding.
By working in both real estate and mortgages, I’m able to support clients more holistically — helping them understand not only what they’re buying or selling, but how their financing impacts timing, negotiation, and long-term strategy. This added expertise strengthens the guidance I already provide and allows for better-informed decisions throughout the process.
Still Actively Selling Real Estate
To be very clear: I am still actively working in real estate.
The Valencia Team remains the core of our business. I will continue to represent buyers and sellers, just as I always have. David will continue to oversee day-to-day operations, while I balance both roles — serving clients in real estate and supporting financing needs through a separate mortgage practice.
This is not a shift away from real estate — it’s an expansion of how we support our clients.
